Arundil Stonehammer

Arundil Stonehammer was a shield dwarf cleric of Moradin who lived during the waning days of Delzoun. A member of the Stonehammer Clan under Durgeddin the Black, Arundil was the spiritual adviser and loremaster in Khundrukar until that fortress' destruction. When orcs from the Spine of the World finally descended upon the few surviving dwarves, Arundil hid away and was passed over.

Alone in the deep, he began casting every spell he knew to try to ease his conscience. In the depth of his madness, he made deals with demons, raised undead, and animated furniture before taking his own life. The suicidal fool returned to life, however, as an allip. Over the centuries Arundil has grown even more powerful and more insane to match.

Arundil was finally killed in 1374 DR by the Silver Company.

Babble (Su): An evolved allip constantly mutters and whines to itself, creating a hypnotic effect. All sane creatures within 60 feet of the evolved allip must succeed on a DC 23 Will save or be affected as though by a hypnotism spell for 2d4 rounds. This is a sonic mind-affecting compulsion effect. Creatures that successfully save cannot be affected by the same evolved allip’s babble for 24 hours.
Fast Healing (Ex): An evolved allip heals 3 points of damage each round so long as it has at least 1 hit point.
Madness (Su): Anyone targeting an evolved allip with a thought-detection, mind control, or telepathic ability makes direct contact with its tortured mind and takes 1d4 points of Wisdom damage.
Wisdom Drain (Su): An evolved allip causes 1d4 points of Wisdom drain each time it hits with its incorporeal touch attack. On each such successful attack, it gains 5 temporary hit points.
