Ed Greenwood

Ed Greenwood is the creator of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting. He is a UNIX-bearded Canadian, freelance author, freelance editor, and basically the Dungeons & Dragons equivalent of George Lucas. Anything Ed Greenwood says about the Forgotten Realms is called "Realmslore," and is considered canon unless your Dungeon Master says otherwise.
