End of Time

The End of Time exists outside of known history, an intersection of timelines that have never existed or have ceased to exist due to super hero intervention. Stolen so, so hard from Chrono Trigger, it's updated from the best the SNES could do to resemble a train station built in the shape of a clock, with twelve platforms that go everywhere and nowhere, as well as a central terminal where the aged super hero Timetable keeps watch, exactly like the Watchers from Marvel Comics, but maybe also doing some gatekeeping Heimdall thing just because that's more badass.

Outside of the End of Time's train station, even though there's totally no terrain to speak of the super villain Karmageddon spends his time loving and learning martial arts in a dark, non-specific wilderness (like Piccolo), but then every day (or week, or decade) assaulting the End of Time's train station and every day (or week, or decade) battling Timetable to a stalemate and retreating to a wilderness that, seriously, I cannot stress this enough, does not exist anywhere out there. The pair of them are locked in this exchange for eternity, until some sort of super hero intervention (does the group show up? does Timetable summon them there? does another super villain aid Karmageddon?) changes that dynamic.
