High Hunt

This article is about the Malarite practice. For the Eilistraeean practice of the same name, see High Hunt.

During the High Hunt, held each season, Malar worshipers adorned in kill trophies hunt a humanoid, who can win his or her life and a boon by escaping or surviving a day and a night.

The Moonwood People of the Black Blood celebrate this festival more frequently than other followers of the Beastlord; to maintain order after Bloodmaster Varek was killed, his replacement Bloodmaster Jarthon declared that a Quaervarr citizen would be Hunted every tenday until Malar's vengeful appetite was sated.
