Kaarghaz is the leader of the troglodytes living in Khundrukar on the floor called the Glitterhame. Due to his great spellcasting ability and his racial bonus to constitution, Kaarghaz was a force to be reckoned with. A match for Thulsa Doomhammer in raw spell power, Kaarghaz's downfall indirectly resulted from his violent nature and his hubris, killing several of his own men with his fireball spells and allowing the Silver Company to surround him. Kaarghaz was killed in 1374 DR by his own fireball after he realized the fight had become hopeless and tried to take Paron Andris and Drago Lundgren with him to the grave.
