Kuldus Droum is a natural werebear and the current bloodmaster of the People of the Black Blood in the Moonwood. Kuldus is a known ally of the Silver Company and has become protective of Sarissa Duncastle, who he believes has been targeted by the bloodmaster-in-exile, Jarthon Drael


A hulking, silent mountain of a man, Kuldus Droum was born a werebear. He is a devout Malarite, one of the Beastlord's "talons," a rare order of priests. He rarely speaks except to make clear the will of Malar to the People, and even then he speaks only when it seems absolutely necessary. While he is physically strong enough to challenge Jarthon and probably prevail, Kuldus recognizes that Jarthon is a better leader than he would be. As long as Jarthon guides the People as Malar wishes, Kuldus will support him.

Unfortunately for Jarthon, the werewolf has finally pushed Kuldus too far. After a skirmish with the Silver Company, Kuldus was overwhelmed by the futility of their clash of titans, and the two sides brokered a shaky peace. For the time being, Kuldus would do what he could to stop the attacks on Quaervarr, while the Silver Company sought Sarissa Duncastle and her unborn child, to accomplish Kuldus' ultimate goal of overthrowing Jarthon and reviving the werewolf race.
