Character Sheet

Liam Cormaeril is the youngest son of Lord Reardon Cormaeril of Eveningstar. Despite being a boy of seventeen, he has thinning silver hair, sweaty pinkish skin, and sagging cheeks and jowls. Thin purplish veins are sometimes visible on his neck and scalp, and his forehead and cheeks are often red and flaky. Liam was always the friendliest and most outgoing of his brothers, but he has become something of a mean thing since his accident. He no longer has any aspirations (or hopes for) for making himself a proper noble like his father, instead (trying to be) content with living out a quiet life in peace and solitude. Though he has been cursed, the hex also conferred a gift: Liam can sense the presence of undead within a short range of himself, and even see and affect invisible, insubstantial, and incorporeal undead normally. Liam is rarely seen outside of his father's estate, and his attitude has never been anything but dour.

Brendan was killed by the Ebon League in 1385 DR.

History

While rolling around, sitting on dubs, (cannot lie, was high on shrubs), he accidentally drove his carriage off of a bridge on a moonless night, killing his passenger, Mina van Aken. Liam, an accomplished swimmer, escaped the accident and went into hiding with his brothers Brendan and Donovan. After a secret rendezvous with either Rodrigo Vanzetti or their father, a cover-up was being undertaken, but this effort was halted by Mina's vengeful spirit, and Rodrigo and the three Cormaeril sons escaped only through the intervention of the Ebon League. As a punishment for his wrongdoings, Mina's spirit levied a curse on Liam, sapping his vitality and leaving him an aged, ragged husk of his former self.
