The Battle of Pantano was a battle fought between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire, in the orbit of Pantano as well as the planet's surface. The Battle of Pantano is both the climax and final session of Star Wars Episode LXIX.
Timeline
Ground assault on Delta Base
The Imperial garrison at Delta Base was besieged by the mercenary crew of the Cantina Turner and a platoon of Rebel commandos, with the goal of crippling the base and disabling its ion cannon. Despite heavy casualties, the Rebel contingent managed to capture the ion cannon and fire it at the Imperial command ship, the Star Destroyer Centurion.
Kamikaze attack on the Centurion
Crippled by Delta Base's ion cannon, the Centurion was then targeted by a Rebel CR90 Corvette, the Taunagi. As the rest of the Imperial blockade, namely the Star Destroyers Crusader and Cavalier, closed with the Centurion to assist, the Taunagi entered hyperspace under fire from the Star Destroyers and destroyed the Centurion.
The Rebel fleet's emergence
With the Centurion destroyed and the Crusader and Cavalier left without leadership, a Rebel Alliance launched a surprise attack, with five MC40 Star Cruisers emerging from hyperspace, the Beluga, the Narwhal, the Bottlenose, the Akishima, and the Baiji. As the remaining Star Destroyers scrambled TIE Fighters in a panic, the Rebel star cruisers launched X-Wings and the Battle of Pantano has begun. It quickly becomes clear that the Alliance's sneak attack puts it at a distinct advantage.
The Black Prince arrives
The Black Prince, the flagship of Inquisitor Sutherland, joins the battle, but appears to remain singularly-focused on capturing the Cantina Turner. The Battle of Pantano continues to turn against the Empire as a ship full of its most advanced starfighters provides minimal aid. It continues to follow the luxury yacht to the exclusion of all else, and eventually leaves the battle as the Cantina Turner flees it as well.
The end of the blockade
After a short, violent battle, the Crusader and Cavalier are destroyed. The Alliance fleet turns their attention to the Black Prince, which escapes into hyperspace. The Rebels mop up the remaining TIEs and then assault Delta Base, repossessing its ion cannon and capturing or killing the remaining Imperials.
