The Black Prince is a jet-black Imperial Light Cruiser and the flagship of Inquisitor Sutherland. It is currently holding position over Pantano's South Pole.
History
Features
In service of the Imperial Inquisitors, who are pivoting from the Jedi-hunter role now that they are mostly forgotten, the Black Prince is armed for quick strike and commando applications, hosting a small contingent of Imperial Death Troopers and the newer, faster TIE Interceptors. Inquisitor Sutherland's personal TIE Advanced is also on board.
Because the Black Prince runs on a skeleton crew, the bridge is mostly for show, so the top of the command tower has been converted to an observation deck (like the one from the 2007 film Sunshine) where Inquisitor Sutherland can study his Jedi holocron and do his naked yoga (should I have modeled him after Sting instead?) against the tranquility of space or the chaos of a dying star.
Behind the scenes
The Black Prince is named after the British A43 infantry tank from World War II, which was itself named after the Black Prince Edward, from history times (and also a Timothee Chalamet movie on Netflix).
