D'Krrik'Ut, usually just called "Cricket," is a Gand technician who works for "the Galactic Trash Man" Franquito DePalma. He knows (Brad's character) Laced Minnanu from their time at the SoroSuub Corporation.
History
Cricket was once a promising young engineer working at the Sullustian SoroSuub Corporation before, against his better judgment, he got involved with the Galactic Trash Man and his gang of miscreants. After he was caught selling proprietary technology to the criminal enterprise, he was let go and had little choice but to join the Trash Man's salvage operation, working instead as a starship technician aboard the Warthog. Cricket continues to sell outlaw tech and do some light salvage on the side, which would very likely anger his currently employer (since he's in that very same business).
Recent developments
Cricket has uncovered an interesting piece of salvage that he things will have both practical and sentimental value to the player characters.
Personality
Cricket isn't a brave man, but he's a survivor. It's hard out here in the Rim, and he's determined to keep on flying.
Behind the scenes
Cricket is named for David Hornsby's character Matthew "Rickety Cricket" Mara on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, fitting the Act I theme. Whether our Cricket will suffer an escalating series of humiliations and end up a lowly street rat is yet to be seen.
