The Twin Holocrons of Pantano (Artifact)

The Twin Holocrons of Pantano are a thematically-linked pair of artifacts recovered from the planet Pantano in Episode LXIX. They contain the the enduring legacies and competing teachings of the extinct Jedi and Sith orders. It's been hypothesized that the twin artifacts constitute a Dyad in the Force, but critics have decried that theory as a lazy plot bandaid and just generally bad writing.

Both holocrons are currently controlled by the crew of the Cantina Turner and still sought by the Dark Side acolyte Sutherland.

Jedi Holocron

The Jedi Holocron was taken by Sutherland from the Temple of Light and recovered by the Cantina Turner after shooting down his TIE Advanced starfighter. Taking the form of a blue cube, it contains the peaceful history of the Jedi of Pantano and instruction for the defensive use of their Force techniques.

Sith Holocron

The Sith Holocron was recovered by the crew of the Cantina Turner in the Temple of Darkness. Taking the form of a red pyramid, it contains the wicked history of the Sith on Pantano and instruction for the violent use of their Force techniques.

Behind the scenes

In addition to the extensive Expanded Universe history of Holocrons, the blue cube is definitely influenced by the Tesseract/Space Stone from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The red pyramid, however, is informed by the Palantir and the One Ring from the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
