First Lieutenant Jacob Scripes is the officer of the Imperial Army charged with establishing Delta Base on Pantano. Determined to get that construction project back on track after a few setbacks, he's looking for new ways to motivate his men. Though neither he nor they are aware of it, he's destined to become the first of the crew of the Cantina Turner's long list of nemeses.
History
Born to senator parents who cheered loudly even for the thunderous level of applause at democracy's death, Leftenant Scripes was groomed for command and graduated the Republic Military Academy with top marks in every subject. His life didn't change much when the Empire came to power (mostly just new branding on the AT-ATs), and after a long series of successes and never really facing much adversity, this lifelong-winner understandably thought establishing a ground base on a sparsely-inhabited swamp planet was a career slam dunk. Enter: the player characters.
Recent developments
Scripes is (temporarily) unaware all of his current crises were caused by the same people. First, construction of Delta Base was delayed by a malfunctioning drainage system, which flooded the base and filled the potable water reserves with eels. Second, the local plumbing crew his staff hired to fix the pump turned out to be associated with a crime syndicate and killed ten people, including a junior officer. And third, while he was busy working on his wildly-impractical gun kata, someone stole his car.
Personality
Leftenant Scripes was originally conceived to be high-strung, skinny, and unapologetically British, like if Eddie Redmayne landed the lead role in a Gordon Ramsay biopic. But now I think I want to settle him down with a whisky smoothness, so I think the celebrity impersonation I'll be butchering will be Charles Dance.
Behind the scenes
Leftenant Scripes fought in the Great War with Lance Corporal Woodhouse on Archer; he's the one Archer later kicks off of the roof.
Game statistics
Leftenant Scripes has one of those sexy Nemesis stat blocks, with multiple good attacks and a full set of wounds and strain. He carries Pon Shal's pistols, and can get a few dozen stormtroopers to converge on his location within minutes. I won't elaborate on the specifics here, though.
