Morn is a Mon Calamari bounty hunter who has some prior connection the player characters that we may (but need not) elucidate here in the nearish future. Morn also has a cool gun.
History
Recent developments
Morn is a dues-paying member of the bounty hunters' guild, but he never really turns his back on side work, which is how he ended up taking a job to bring in the outlaw gunslinger Pon Shal, once considered a promising up-and-comer in the Hutt crime syndicate. The client suggested Pon Shal had no known associates, but when Morn tracked him to Pantano, no fewer than three hired guns were waiting in ambush. Unable to request the aid of the guild (because this is an unregistered job), Morn was forced to reach out to some amoral non-joiners he'd met in the past—enter: the player characters.
Among whichever other obligations brought the PCs to the Pantan system, owing a small favor to Morn can be among them (5 points), so if you're reading this and you got here first, go ahead and make it one of yours, and you can start paying off your debts early.
Personality
Morn recognizes that, in galactic basic, his first name looks suspiciously like the "Mon" in "Mon Calamari", and he's grown tired of being called "Morn Calamari". "We don't even have surnames," he'd plead, "…and even if we did, it wouldn't be 'Calamari'. Who the fuck would name their kid 'Hugh Mann'?" After this stopped being funny (so like the third time), Morn just started shooting people.
