Supporting Characters (NPCs)
These are the characters in Supporting Roles.
Background characters (like Stormtroopers) are best served with a single trope and stat block from the Star Wars adversary database.
Main characters
Characters who will appear in lots of scenes of the course of the Episode, regardless of affiliation.
- Lando Calrissian, card-player, gambler, scoundrel; you'd like him
- Tuuba the Hutt, gangster, crime lord, gambler, and Jabba's cousin; "You're a snake, Tuuba."
- The "Galactic Trash Man," a waste/salvage magnate and a real scumbag, the likely antagonist of Act I
- Sutherland—Jack Bauer, Jedi Hunter; an outcast Imperial Inquisitor on the run from his own government
- Kurt Russell, a yet-to-be-named starship captain modeled after Han Solo runner-up Kurt Russell
Scoundrels
- Jabba the Hutt, vile gangster and leader of the Hutt crime family
- Prince Xizor, Falleen crime lord and leader of the Black Sun crime syndicate
- Lady Qi'ra, first of her name, mother of dragons, leader of the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate
- Tuuba's boys: RE-G4T0, "the Klatooinian," Pon Shal, and Kif Momo
- The Gang, the Trash Man's inner circle: Dennis (the looks), Mac (the muscle), Charlie (the wildcard), and Dee (the useless chick)
- "Cricket", an underworld contact who works for the Trash Man and is willing to betray his employer for the right price
- Ivan the Unbearable and Oda Neeyo, throwaway characters who might recur
Rebel Alliance
- Shiri Bondara: operative, recruiter, waitress, dancer; a regular Mata Hari
- Brie Baker, a freighter pilot with an unhealthy obsession with the Cantina Turner
- Dr. LaPlante and Dr. Avery, scientists and Imperial defectors
Galactic Empire
- Dr. Klaus Weiner, a revenge-obsessed xenologist and cybernetic abomination with a thick Austrian accent
- Captain Cushing, captain of the Black Prince, Sutherland's former flagship
- Leftenant Scripes, ex-commander of Delta Base and current Rebel prisoner
- Moff Sutherland, the former governor of the Pantano sector, who retired after his reputation was ruined
Unaligned/other
- Cyril Clover, an Imperial deserter starting over as the captain of a mining guild freighter
- Gavin Goorman, an Imperial quartermaster listed as KIA, but actually a captive of the Hutts
- Chester Drawers, the Force ghost of a self-styled Jedi historian
- Darth Lundgren, the more-powerful Force ghost of an ancient Sith Lord
Gone, but not forgotten
- Garm Carden, a Gank sharpshooter in a contract dispute with Disney; rumors say he's being replaced by Don Cheadle
- Firith Ven, Rebel recruiter and Shiri Bondara's cousin, had his character written out of the film for his off-screen antics
- Beebo and Deebo, Rodian primitives and proud warriors who remained on Pantano (and out of this film)
- Morn, Mon Calamari bounty hunter starting over on Pantano training primitives with Imperial blaster tech
- Truj Mank, Sslith, and Bojack Witherskins, innocent Trandoshans framed by the PCs and sentenced to die by racist Imperial justice
- Chloro and Anari, Rebels who failed to grab audiences and are unlikely to return; they'll get a comic miniseries
- Rebel commandos: Capt. Dillon, Billy, Blain, Mac, Hawkins and Poncho were all KIA at Delta Base
- Atticus Beauregard, a former slaveowner and current pancake, he only remains in this list because I think the PCs still have his corpse
Relocated to the Obligation page
This is temporary, but characters in Obligation side quests will be added to the NPC pages once they appear in the film.
- Pahduuk the Hutt, dirty gambler who only bets on "sure things" (Jim's obligation)
- "Silicate" Joeseppi Wob Toydarian royalty who fancies himself a prizefighter; couldn't even win a fixed match (Jim's obligation)
