The Pantano Shipyard is an urban ruin on the surface of Pantano. It's currently hosting Delta Base, the only Imperial fortification in this System.
History
Located on one of the few large, dry plateaus on the swamp planet's surface, it's unclear who built this shipyard or when, but it's been decommissioned for centuries. Some say the planet's original inhabitants built the shipyard simply to leave their homeworld and never look back, while others suggest colonists or an Old Republic corporation built it later. Visible from high orbit, the shipyard was primarily used as a landmark to find the city Miyagi's Landing before beginning a planetary approach.
Imperial Entanglements
Shortly after the destruction of the first Death Star (though I guess nobody knows there's a second one yet), five Imperial star destroyers arrived in the Pantan system and set up an orbital blockade. The Empire's activities have so far been pretty limited and extremely clandestine, but on multiple occasions they've used the Pantano shipyard as a landing zone and staging area for materiel and stormtroopers.
