Strongbeards

The Strongbeards are a shield dwarf clan from Citadel Adbar, dating back to the days of Old Delzoun. Though they've produced plenty of strong warriors, they are most famous for Strongbeard Cider, one of the most popular beverages in northwestern Faerûn among humans and dwarves.

Strongbeard Cider

Strongbeard Cider is a powerful drink made from fermented sugar beets rather than apples. It has a cloudy reddish-purple hue and a strong acidic smell, but the taste is sweeter than its aroma would imply. It is typically served in a dimpled pint glass by humans, but the proper dwarven vessel is a stone mug.
